Flood Lights are great to have. We have a couple motion sensor flood lights around our property. They are useful for so many things. In fact I didn’t realize how much I depended on them, until I had them. Or maybe better yet, until one didn’t come on!
What are they good for?
Coming in late at night and have a long walk from the car? For John and me, we have a short walk from our parking area to our front door. We walk across a gravel driveway, across a bridge, up a walk and to the porch. Normally our car lights goes out right about the time we hit the bridge. Because of our flood light, they kick on right after we reach the bridge and provides us great light to make it safely to the porch.
Another thing I like them for is when I am sitting inside at night. The dog barks and the lights kick on. Around here it could be a cat, a coon or a prowler. We never know. But there is enough lights to where we can look around. Maybe it would scare whatever it is off. It is much better to look from the inside out then have to go out in the dark.
Walking the dogs at night. It is always easier for me when I walk down the porch steps and the light kicks on. This provides enough light for us to walk throughout the yard so we can have our nightly walk.
Understanding the pros of good lighting, I jumped at the chance to see what the Zitrades IP66 Waterproof 10W DC 12V warm LED flood Light was all about.
The light was nice looking.
Here is some info on it.
I was lucky that John knew what he was doing, because when it came in it did not have any plugs on the wires, so you must do that yourself. I would’ve never managed. If you aren’t sure how to connect a plug, then this isn’t for you.
Once the plug was connected it was good to go.
It really does put out a nice light and looks good. It is waterproof and we have it mounted up right now, but this would be great to move around the yard for when we want to sit out at night and need some light. All in all it is a good light. You can find out more about it HERE.
