I am yet again on a subject that I dearly love. SNACKS. I am a big snacker. I rather have snacks then meals, which isn’t great. I have learned through the years though that there is some things I can eat all day and still lose weight. Fruits and veggies especially. I don’t like to get burnt out on something and just grabbing an apple isn’t something I would be happy to do everyday.
When I came in contact with the people from BareFruit and they offered to send me a bag of their crunchy apple cinnamon chips, I jumped at the offer. I agreed to try out the chips that they sent me for free, in exchange for my honest opinion.
The first thing I liked was the bag. Yes the bag. I like the fact that it has a seal on it. That way when I open it up I can reseal and not have to worry about digging for a chip clip.
How is the taste? Good question! If you have ever tried dry fruit you either like it or you don’t. If you like dried fruit, you will love BARE fruit. My initial reaction when opening the bag was “these look burnt”. I thought that would be hard. Well they are crunchy (as the name claims) but they aren’t tough. They have the perfect amount of cinnamon on them to give them that extra special taste. I also noticed they still have the apple peels on them. I liked that because that is where most of the vitamins are in any fruit and veggie. I also loved the fact that I could hold them in my mouth and they would melt back down to a normal tasting apple.
