win $25 gift card from Walmart.Com from P&G!

“The Walmart gift cards and information have been provided by P&G.”

Sometimes I tend to take things for granted.  It is just the simple things in life that I overlook and just assume they will always be there and available.  I could write a page full of things that I used to take for granted.  This post is more about a place I took for granted.  It is somewhere that most of us goes to at least once a week.  We complain about it, make fun of it, laugh at the pictures of other customers on the internet and then when we need something- we go to it.  That place is Walmart.

It is truly a one stop shopping place.  It takes a lot of abuse sometimes but then we always turn to it for our needs.   Try going without it for 3 months straight and then you may realize that you too have taken it for granted.  Here in Panama we don’t have a lot of Department stores.  We can find a lot of what we need to get by, but the convenience of 24 hour shopping at one store with everything is almost impossible to find.  Especially in the smaller beach town that we reside in.

Thanks to P&G, whom I teamed up with a couple weeks ago,  I now know how I can still have that 24 hour shopping experience and get products that I love but can’t find around here.  They introduced me to Walmart.com.   I have been there a few times to purchase gifts on special occasions or to order pictures from the one hour photo.  What I didn’t realize was that not only can I find large special occasion items.   But I can buy smaller items that I use daily. Brands such as Tide, Pampers, Bounty, Charmin, Swiffer, and Mr. Clean.

I was able to go online and purchase some of these items thanks to P&G.  I was excited to receive a

.  I had looked at several places around here and was never lucky enough to find anywhere that carried them.   Ordering was easy.

I went to Walmart.com

looked at the different departments and chose:  Grocery, household & Pets.  Once there I selected:  Cleaning Supplies.  They have just about anything you can find in the store and yes it is always in stock.  The prices are equal to the price in the store.  It isn’t raised just because it is online.   Once I chose the products I wanted I was able to add them to my cart.  I loved the fact that if I spent over $50.00 that shipping was FREE.  I was able to choose either to pick up the products at my local store (FREE) or have them mailed to me.  Of course I had them mailed to me.

They accept several forms of payment including:

  • American Express
  • Discover (including Walmart Discover)
  • MasterCard (including debit cards with a MasterCard logo)
  • Visa (including debit cards with a Visa logo)
  • Walmart Credit Card
  • Bill Me Later
  • PayPal
  • Walmart Gift Cards and eGift Cards
  • Layaway (available during holiday season)
  • Cash

I was able to pay for my purchases with a gift card P&G sent me.  The whole process was super easy and now I know I will be purchasing things online regularly.  I am going to do this for a couple of reasons.  #1 due to availability #2. It is delivered to my door (or Mailbox etc. door) and I don’t have to spend time shopping through the store not finding what I am looking for.  I also don’t have to lug it around.

Maybe your problem is that your running on limited time.  Wouldn’t it be nice to take your child to the doctor or school activity and be able to do your shopping while waiting?   You can now do just that.  Just download the Walmart smartphone app, you can easily build a shopping list by scanning all the products you’re ready to purchase again.

The best way for you to find out more about it is to buy something there.  To make it easy on you P&G has offered to give one lucky Shopping Wives reader a $25.00 gift card to Walmart.com!

Probably when I was told that I couldn’t use multiple free coupons and had to do separate transactions because of how the cashier misread the coupon. It stated that I had to have the item for each coupon not do separate transactions

My best walmart story is when I was in the checkout line and I just had a few items and the cashier said it has already been paid for by the customer ahead of you. The next time i was in walmart i did the same thing for someone else.

It probably was when I found out my walmart carried some oriental food for less and I stocked up on them for great price.

I was buying my weekly groceries one day. as i was checking out the cashier scanned a bag of cornmeal. a message popped up that said she couldn’t sell it to me. I asked her why not and all she could say was that the message on the screen said it was unsellable… and she quickly put it under the register. i was so weirded out by it i asked her to call a manger and he said that from time to time they have recalls on things for whatever reason and that was the reason they couldn’t sell it to me. i told him the cashier told me it was unsellable and he laughed and said martha white certainly was a popular product and didn’t have a problem selling things!

I heard my name over the loudspeaker one day at walmart. My daughter, who was quite shy and reserved, who was 15, was having tricycle races with one of her friends down the toy aisle. I tried hard not to smile as I told them it was wrong.
