Weimy Compact Lightweight Large Beach Blanket

Unless you are somewhere like Florida you are probably experiencing a change in the weather.  Here in Kentucky we have been lucky so far as to not have really cold weather.  It has been sunny and in the 50s and it November.  That doesn’t happen often.  I just enjoy it and will take what mother nature hands out to me!

While in Panama, the one thing I missed the most was the changing of the seasons.  There it was hot hot hot.  Same year round.  90 and above all year long.  This was nice beach weather.  While it was nice for a while, I didn’t get to see the leaves falling off the trees,  the snow falling on the ground or the first flowers in bloom.  That is what I missed.

Now that I am back enjoying the changing of the seasons, I still think of the beach and warmer weather, especially on cold days.

I was asked to review a beach blanket.  I guess this had me thinking more about my time in Panama.

This blanket would’ve been the perfect item to have had on beach days.  It is a quality made blanket, it is made with 100% parachute nylon.  This makes it very lightweight, but at the same time durable.

It is sand resistant, so it is easy to shake off after you pick it up and you don’t have to worry about getting it all over your car.  While it is lightweight the blanket comes with stakes to hold it down as well as pockets.  You can put sand in these pockets and that will anchor the blanket down.

It comes in a nice little pouch.  You would think something in that pouch wouldn’t be worth fooling with, but once you take it out it is about 7×6 and you have enough room for 2 people to sit on comfortably.

While I didn’t have a chance to try it out on an actual beach, I do know that this material doesn’t get really hot.  So you don’t have to worry about burning your legs when sitting down on it.

It is available on Amazon.

If you know someone that likes to go to the beach, this might be a good gift for them!  I know I would’ve loved receiving something like this when the beach was only a couple of minutes away!
