While cancer is a scary subject, it is a real subject. It isn’t something that can be overlooked and then it just disappear. We must face it, learn about it and then do what we can to fight it.
This book Waging War on Cancer by Dr. G Robert S. Byars, is a story of one mans journey. A man who in fact has dedicated his life into finding cures for cancer.
I found the book easy to read and in fact enjoyed reading what Dr. Byars has shared in his book about Dr. Pettit. It is informative and engaging.
John also read this book and here is what he had to say about it:
The book: “Waging war on CANCER” is a well researched description on the lifetime struggle of Dr. Robert Pettit in his worldwide search for a remedy to cure the dreadful disease of cancer.
The book brings to life the dedicated research of Dr. Pettit for a natural remedy for cancer in such far away places as the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Australia and even the deeps of the Pacific ocean.
Large parts are consumed by the constant struggle to find funding for his expensive research operations.
To me the book was an interesting page turner about Dr. Pettit’s successes and failures and ongoing determination.
Would I suggest this book? Yes. While it may not give you the cure to cancer, it will take you on a journey that will inspire you and will teach you to never give up.
In this 233 page book you will follow Dr. Pettit from when he was a child on the Jersey Shore, through the college years. Then he will take you through his own personal war on cancer.
I found it inspiring and mesmerizing as well as engaging. Be sure to check the book out as well as read the reviews on Waging war on Cancer at Amazon.
