Veterans Day. Thank you.

I couldn’t end this day 11/11/2012 without saying thanks to all the Veterans.  Thanks to the people that left home and family to do positive things for the country.  Thanks to the family that was and is left at home without a loved one.

I don’t think I could ever express enough thanks in a single blog post on things I am grateful for.

On facebook some people is taking this month to give one gratitude a day.  I didn’t choose to do this because I feel we should be grateful all year round and not just the month of Thanksgiving.  Now don’t get me wrong.  I am not criticizing the people doing this.  It was my personal choice not to participate.  It wasn’t for me.

Today I would however like to say that I am grateful this Veteran’s Day (and everyday before that)  for my Daddy.  I only had him a very short while but the almost 13 years I had with him helped make me the person I am today.
