Who Uses A Bulletin Board?

Bulletin Boards have been around for a long time.  I read somewhere that it was invented as far back as 1924!

My first memory of  them was in my elementary school.  The teachers decorated them, in the hallways were more decorated bulletin boards and some even had information posted on them.

I think in a way they are things we see everywhere, but we really don’t take notice.  It is a item that really is useful and used a lot, but seldom thought of.

So who uses Bulletin boards?

Professionals

Teachers, lawyers, cops, doctors and everyone in between!

Stores

Clothing stores, thrift stores, grocery stores

Restaurants

Diners, buffet bars, truck stops and high class

And that is the people that uses them, just off the top of my head!  There are many many more.

I started using a Bulletin Board at home, just to keep my thoughts organized.  Not only does it help me remember tasks that needs done, it lets me keep them in order.  For me it works better then the calendar on my phone  Walking by the board and seeing it makes me more aware and more likely to complete the tasks.

It also is a great place to pin pictures, motivational quotes.  Bills, grocery list, chore charts and menus.

The board I have been using and really like is one from Pin Pix.  It is a 30×20 board.  I like the look of it.  It is framed in white and handmade in the US. I love the fact that it is what they call self healing.  This means I can pin something, remove it and not find a bunch of holes all over the board.

Yes, I still use Pinterest online.  But it is sometimes nice to use the original version of Pinterest, the bulletin board!!

Do you use one?
