As a Bzzagent I was invited to join the “Unreal” candy campaign. This was perfect for me since I have been trying to lead a healthier lifestyle lately. Believe me, I was skeptical about a candy that has no artificials, corn syrups or hydrogenated oils in it. To be perfectly honest while I was excited to do this campaign I had formed an opinion thinking this would be like one of the many protein bars already out there.
When I received my coupons I went to Krogers to pick them up. Sadly Krogers had sold out so I was able to find them at Walgreens.
They were hard for me to find because apparently these bars has no official home on the shelves yet. I had to find the displays randomly in the store.
I brought the candy home and was excited to try the Chocolate candy shelled peanuts. To my suprise I REALLY liked these! If someone had put them in a bowl without telling me these were the healthy versions I wouldn’t had known the difference. The only difference is the colors of them.
Other then the chocolate candy shell peanuts I also brought home Chocolate candy shell which was equally as good.
I also purchased the chocolate caramel nougat. I have to say I enjoyed the candy shelled better but that was just my taste. I also brought home the chocolate peanut butter cups. There is also a caramel nougat with peanuts that I didn’t get.
If you go to the website you will find the nutritional information AMAZING.
Today I brought some Unreal with me for my morning walk. I wanted to hear what other people thought about them. My Mom, Sister and Niece were with me to try them out and give me their opinions. This was a perfect, healthy midmorning snack for after a powerwalk. They all really thought they tasted great and even said they would even purchase them in the future.
