ultrasonic pest repeller

I love animals.  Some like cute cats and cuddly kittens are so sweet.  Playful puppies and lazy dogs are great.  Even little hairy hamsters have graced my presence.  I can live with most and in fact enjoy it.   But on the other side of the coin, sometimes there is some uninvited insects and animals that intrude in our space.  Those are pests.

I prefer not to poison and wouldn’t even like to kill these pests if I had a choice.  In fact poison is probably the last thing I would try to get rid of these pests.  I guess that is due to the time my niece got into a box of mouse poison.  Everyone was in bed asleep.  She snuck up and found a box of those blue pellets.  She took cupcake papers and filled them with butter.  She then sprinkled the poison over the butter and proceeded to wake up the household, offering each one of us her special cupcakes.  Our dog was the only one that accepted the offer.  We were lucky that we caught this in time and was able to get him to the vet for a shot to counteract the poison.  That showed me that poison could be really dangerous.  We should’ve had that in a locked cabinet or out of reach.  Now I don’t buy it at all.

We have 5 cats now and whichever stray decides to wonder in.   Even with that many cats, we still manage to have a field mouse from time to time.  Raccoons are crazy around here and we have an over abundance of them as well.

I did find something that I like though.  It is from the company Brilliante.  It is a ultrasonic pest repeller.  It is for electronic home insect and rodent control.  I had seen the pest repellers before that is just plugged into the wall and it sends out a signal that keeps pests and rodents out.  This is the cadillac of pest controllers.  It has 4 functions and 4 switches.  You can use one function or all 4.

This also eliminates odors and germs.  You can use the negative ion and 03 functions to help eliminate odors, airborne pollutants and to reduce virus and bacteria levels.

One of my concerns was how the dog and cats would react to it.  So far they haven’t acted as if it is bothering them at all.  I am amazed that this would keep squirrels and mice and the raccoons out of our home, but doesn’t effect the cats.

If you are dealing with unwanted insects or rodents that might live in your walls then, this is perfect.  To me it is worth the $39.99 they are charging on Amazon.  You can see it HERE
