Happy cats, sad cats, so ugly they are pretty grumpy cats……. When we use any of the social media platforms available to us, chances are we are going to see a cat. For the cat lovers it is a joy – for the not so much of a cat lover – it is irritating. Either we like something or we don’t.
Either way, it is the “posters” right to post what they want. Or is it? Do you realize that censorship is going on daily now? hundreds of millions of people are daily denied their right to knowledge by governmental controls on sites such as YouTube and Facebook.
We are no longer always allowed to share our feelings and opinions.
Self expression through our cat pictures is being stripped away little by little.
As they say at The PussyCat Riot
“Freedom is knowledge. Knowledge is power. Cats know everything.”
While we post cats for fun, they are also a form of our self expression. The people at The Pussycat Riot is fighting for our rights. We have the right to be grumpy, to be happy, to want to be alone. The Riot is raising awareness with one cat at a time!
What can you do to help raise this awareness?
