Do you like to snack? I know I do. Snacks is what normally gets me into trouble when it comes to weight loss. That is why I am always excited to find healthy alternatives, that taste good and at the same time are good for me.
That is what I found when I came across Yummy Yammy Moroccan sweet potato salsa.
To be completely honest, when I first heard of it, I wondered if it could be good. I know sweet potatoes is overflowing with great vitamins and I do like them. Sometimes it is just hard to comprehend two flavors together, unless you just try it.
That is exactly what I did.
Not only did Yummy Yammy invite me to review 1 jar of their Salsa, but they sent me 3 of their flavors: The black bean, corn and chipolte. Roasted red pepper, white bean and basil. Curry Lentil and kale.
The black bean, corn and chipotle would be fantastic as an addition to tacos or even over rice. I feel the same thing about the roasted red pepper, white bean and basil. The curry lentil and kale is probably my favorite and I could imagine using it in addition with something else for a chicken sauce.
disclaimer: I received a product talked about in this posting in exchange for my honest opinion. All opinions are 100% my own and may or may not differ from yours.
In fact my niece loved them so much that I gave her some! We both share the same opinions on them. They are so perfect to eat just by themselves as a snack or to add to a favorite dish.
My favorite part. ONLY 250 calories for a WHOLE 12 ounce jar! This is something that I can munch on during the day (or night) and not feel guilty about at all.
You can follow the links to the Amazon pages below for each of the flavor I got the chance to try. Once on the page you can read more about what other customers are saying about them.
