Are you interested in Fashion & Style? Do you feel like there is always more to learn and you would love to maybe take some classes but you never have the time?
I think time is the number one thing that prevents me from completing or even starting a project for that matter.
What if I told you there was a place online that you could take fashion and style classes at your own time and pace?
You can do just that at a site called “SkillShare”
I had the pleasure of getting to see how Skillshare works first hand.
SkillShare is simple. Here is how it works. You can sign in with your facebook account or sign in using your email. Once you send them your email they are going to send you a bunch of classes to choose from. Some classes are all different prices, but none really expensive. Depending on the class, you can find one as low as $9.00 or as high as $25.00.
Being a blogger I am more into the photography side of fashion and I found a perfect class for $9 that was called “Introduction to fashion photography: Capture the look.” This class is taught by a professional photographer. This was only one example though, you can find classes there that will teach you anything from fashion photography to actually starting your own fashion business.
1.) Watch Videos.
These recorded videos will walk you through your lesson.
2.) Create your project.
Each class provides a step-by-step Project Guide to lead you through the class.
3.) Get peer feedback.
Peer feedback helps you take your project to the next level.
Feel comfortable being who you are, finding your style and sharing it with other caring people.
No matter where you are at there is a class for you. When searching for classes you can choose from beginner, intermediate or advanced.
Maybe you specialize and have some special skill of your own to share on Skillshare. If so be sure and apply to teach. There is an easy enrollment form on site. Once they look it over and you have passed their guidelines for teaching, then you could start earning up 85% of your class sales. I know I have so many talented friends and readers here at shopping wives that could benefit just from this area.
I was a bit excited and then a bit nervous when I first heard of skill share. I wanted to do it, but what did I really know about fashion and style. I am glad I decided to take a chance and just go for it, what I learned was you don’t have to know it all. Skill Share is going to teach you no matter what level you are or what part of the fashion and style field you are going for.
There is a place out there for you. Find your happy place at Skillshare!
What are you waiting for? Get inspired! Create. Have fun learning!
