A few years ago I was really addicted to “The Sims.” Somehow I broke free of the hold it had on me and moved on.
Sims is a life simulated video game with some strategy. You can create your own family which is in 2 & 3D.
Here a week or so ago I decided to see what all the hype was with this SIMS 3. WoW I couldn’t believe it! It has progressed so much since the original one came out.
When you start a game and create your family (you can create anything from a single sim living alone to a whole household). You can make your SIM so lifelike! Everything from skin color to eyebrows to shape.
Here is my SIM and I have been told it looks so much like me that it’s Creepy. I wish that was true!
You can change your clothes and hair as well. I like having fun with all the different outfits. Like in this one:
With the Sims 3 you can create anything from Babies to the elderly. You can decorate your house, have a job, fall in love etc. It is really a virtual world.
You can also purchase expansion packs for SIMS 3. Right now I have Katy Perry (My simself is wearing one of her dresses in the above photo) and I also have Supernatural. I am planning on getting pets.
You can also get Generations and Fast Lane.
With Supernatural you can make your SIM into a werewolf, a Vampire a witch and several other supernatural creatures. There is Zombies on there and watch out for the Full moon!
The Katey Perry pack has awesome outfits and decorations for your home.
Right now that’s all I can tell you about it since I am new to the game. Would I suggest purchasing it. Yes, I would. I can think of more pros then cons when it comes to the game.
What is one of the con’s?
Not enough time in the day.
One thing I am having trouble with is I like playing in full screen so everytime I go to minimize it I have to either quit the game or go to options and take off the full screen and when you do that it’s harder to control.
I just started a board at Pinterest for my sims:
I started a Tumblr where I will be posting my Sims pics. Follow me there:
