From an early age I have been interested in photography. I loved capturing memories and moments.
. Of course my first camera was before digital pictures was at my fingertips and I had to buy film and then pay to have it developed. 1 hour photos was my favorite thing.
I must have been about 29 or 30 years old before I owned my first digital camera. A simple point and shoot camera. One that I took everywhere with me. And one that I was able to take numerous shots with and not have to worry about paying to have the film developed.
What I loved more then taking the pictures, was editing them. I used Paint Shop Pro quite a bit. I had heard a lot about Photoshop – but wasn’t familiar with it.
As I have gotten older, my love of photography has only grown. My dream is to someday to own a DSLR camera. While that will be later on down the road, I have decided to really learn how to use Photoshop.
I have been reading up on it, playing with all the different tools in it and a lot of times I find myself frustrated. There is one ebook that I just finished that is great to help you learn a lot of the basic things that might confuse a novice like me.
The book is called, “Photoshop: The ultimate beginners guide to mastering Adobe Photoshop in a week”.
After reading it, have I mastered photoshop? NO.
But I really like this book! It has given me a better basic understanding. It discusses things like working with layers, tool bar, options bar and several other things.
If you are interested in learning photoshop I would suggest for you to read this! It is a short but sweet book.
