I was recently invited to take the onion crunch challenge.  This was an invitation I couldn’t refuse.  I had tried it before and really loved it.  With Thanksgiving coming up I knew it would be a perfect edition to everyone’s meals.  While I can’t personally be with my family this Thanksgiving, I would love to get in the spirit and share an old but good recipe that everyone will love.  It is very easy to make, but the onion crunch turns it into everyone’s favorite.

Green Bean Casserole

What you need:

  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • 4 cups of green beans

Preparation is as easy as 3 steps!

  • Mix all ingredients together (save some of the onion crunch out of the mixture)
  • Bake on 350 for about 30 minutes
  • Stir it and sprinkle with remaining onion crunch
  • Bake for about 5 more minutes

I was given the challenge after trying onion crunch.  They asked me between 3 brands of onions and in my personal opinion, Onion Crunch came out on top on all 3 factors.

  1. Tastiest
  2. Healthiest
  3. Crunchiest
