NS Minerals Natural Pigments

NS Minerals Natural Pigments

Do you have sensitive skin?  If so then you may want to consider trying mineral makeup.  Mineral makeup tends to have less ingredients then normal makeup which is better for sensitive skin. Mineral makeup is made up of only iron oxides, talc, zinc oxide, and titanium dioxide and then are micronized, or ground and milled, into tiny particles to create makeup.

There is several debates going around about who founded this makeup and then there is also the fact that regular makeup has a lot of these minerals in them as well.  The difference is  that regular makeup has other chemicals in it as well.

The only upside to more chemicals is maybe application is easier.  The upside to just mineral is that your face is less likely to break out.

I can’t say I have a lot of just mineral makeup, but I did want to try it out and learn more about it.

I had my chance when Coco Joy offered to send me some of their NS Minerals Natural Pigments.

This can be used for several things.  Eyeshadow, liner, highlighter, blush, lips, hair and nails.

I used the bermuda/orchid colors and used them on my eyes.  It was easy to apply.  Using a larger eyeshadow brush I coverer my entire eyelid with the orchid color.  After that I took a smaller brush and just did the eye lid.  After that I blended them in the crease.  I was afraid the loose powder would be hard to apply but it was no problem at all and I loved the color of the two together.

Not only is the makeup itself nice.  The containers it comes in is really classy, or at least I thought.  They are small hard plastic interlocking containers.  They are great for mixing the pigments when you want to go that route.

You can get the duo for $21.99 on their Amazon page HERE
