I have never been one of those people that could just lay down and go straight to sleep at night. So many nights I lay and process the days events, what needs to be done. I think of ideas for things I am going to do the next day – basically anything BUT sleep. Usually the next day I wake up and most of what kept me awake the night before has slipped my mind. Has this ever happened to you?
I am sure the majority of you said yes. There is some options. You can take your phone to bed with you and then deal all night with the noise of new emails, calls and messages. You can take a voice recorder and risk waking up your husband/wife if you have one. You can take a regular notepad and pen, turn on the light and disturb your sleeping partner cat or dog. Maybe you can just get back up and go to your desk and end up staying up a couple more hours in the process. See there is TONS of things you can do. None of those really sound appealing to me. How about you?
I do have one idea I haven’t listed. It is actually why I am writing this post. I was sent something called a Nite Note. This note pad would remind you of of the first cellphones that came out.. Big and bulky. In the top of it is what looks like an antenna, but it is really a pen. When you pull the pen out – a light pops on. Nothing drastic, but enough to wear you could write those thoughts down.
