Money? What is that? Oh, okay. That is that stuff that seems to make the world go round – and here I thought it used to be love (I still do). No matter if we are a realist or a hopeless romantic- We need money.
We also need food in our stomachs, a roof over our head, gas in our cars – etc. That seems to take more then we can bring in, at least that is the way it goes most of the time in my world. So when does fun come into play? I think that happens when we learn to budget. When we put coupons to use, shop clearance sales and save save save.
One of the things I do, and I was talking some about this the other day, I use Groupon. I can save at several dollars at some of My favorite stores.
Using Groupon Coupons at Petsmart, Barnes and Nobles & Bed Bath and Beyond lets me spoil my dogs and myself. Using Groupon Coupons at everyday stores like Walgreens & Kmarts saves me money on everyday products like medicine and cleaning supplies. They also offer savings on things that come up suddenly such as car rentals and eyeglasses.
The best part of Groupon is it is easy to use – signing up is simple and it is FREE. No hidden fees.
My niece and nephew do not know yet, but I do plan on a trip to the mall when I am visiting them next week. I have already checked out some Groupons that I plan on using. My niece will be over the moon excited when she sees the 70% savings on Clearance items at Torrid!
My nephew will be excited when he hears that Aunt Tabby has a 40% off Groupon Coupon at Nike!
I am also sure my SIster and I will hit several stores including Sephora where we can save up to 50% off with Groupon Coupons!
While it is true that money makes the world go round – learning the best way to save it really helps us enjoy it.
Where is your favorite place to shop?
I get stressed out easy. If you don’t believe me, ask my husband. While there is many ways to relieve stress and tension I have found something that helps me keep my mind on it, and away from negative thoughts.
It is just through coloring. Yes, something I learned to do even before grade school, is what sometimes takes me away from the negative things and people that come into my life.
While just coloring anything is great, there is many options out there. A stream of adult coloring books is available. The one that keeps my hands and mind occupied is the Mandala coloring book. In fact this book is called, Mood enhancing Mandalas by My Masterpiece.
In this book you will find 50 very detailed pictures to color and take you away.
I find that I like to use gel pens when coloring mine. There is no special color to color these mandalas either. Let your imagination be your guide.
use bunches of different colors or do a theme. For example I started this one before one the Bengals
games in honor of them:
No matter how you color them, they are worth having in my opinion. One of these and a pack of gel pens would also make the perfect Christmas gift for someone.
These are available on Amazon
I have always been fascinated by disco balls and strobe lights, but never really owned one. I do now though!
JS lighting sent me one of their mini flash LED strobe lights to test out. I was all for that!
It came in and I took it out of the box. Who knew that a small black kind of plain looking box could turn into something so magical! The prettiest blue lights are strewn around the room. 24 LED lights in a box can change the ordinary into something extraordinary.
While I haven’t owned this one or used it for 55,000 hours. This is the expected life of the LED lights in this strobe light.
I like the fact that it has the controls so you can control the speed of the lights.
At the price this is selling for it is well worth the purchase. It could make the difference in a boring party or a fun party.
The only thing that this may not be good for is If someone has epilepsy or seizures. These lights can mess with someone in that circumstance. Other then that it is Fun Times!

Art has always been intriguing to me. It didn’t matter if I was attempting to do it myself or if I was looking at someone else’s work. Maybe that is the Libra coming out in me.
Internet has made a wider area of art available to me. I am grateful when I find a new website or see a new artist. Grateful is the way I felt when I came across Dana Sibilsky’s site.
Not only does she share Modern, Post Modern & Contemporary art, but she shares so much more! One of those things are virtual art. Something I would love to learn more about.
One of my favorite posts that I have found on her site is called “Two of the best Artistic Tools For Virtual Arts”. While in this article she talks about Adobe Photo shop, she also will introduce you to a site called GIMP, which is a photo shop clone BUT a FREE ONE. The word free is important to us starving artists, right?
She will also introduce you to Blender 3D which is also a FREE site – Both GIMP and Blender 3D has download links in her post. If this is something that interests you at all, then you should give it a read.
You are also going to find articles on how to sell your art. What to do when your blocked. And I must admit, she had me at coffee. Yes, she even has a couple posts about coffee!
To sum it all up, Dana is a art blogger that you will find not only talking about art on Danasibilsky.com, but you will also have the pleasure of seeing some of Dana’s own artistic pieces.
Disclaimer: Dana was nice enough to send me a set of her favorite sketch pencils, that is how I met her and one of the reasons I am sharing her site on mine!
