How do you like your steak?

If you are a vegetarian, this post isn’t for you.  I am not one.  I am more along the lines of a meatatarian.   Have you ever dreamed of the perfect steak dinner?  You had the best top quality steaks that money could buy waiting in your fridge.  You are dreaming of the nice vegetables to go along, knowing the star of the plate was that big nice steak…  You already can taste it as you go through your day.

That night you anxiously start preparing everything.  You do everything the best you can, but that steak that is supposed to be medium rare looks a bit black and dry.  Or that well done steak leaks blood when you lay it on the plate.

It is very frustrating and downright disappointing when that happens.

There is a solution, it is called steak champ.  This steak thermometer really makes things easy.  Unless you are color blind, you can have the accurate temperature with this tool.  It is color coded – when it flashes green that means the meat is medium rare, yellow means you have a medium steak and red means you have a medium well steak.

I have had thermometers in the past but never this accurate or this easy to use.  In fact before I received this one, we had limited the amount of steaks we bought.  We were so tired of failed ones that we played it safe and ate a lot of pork.

While this one in my opinion is a bit more pricey then some I had in the past, it is worth it due to it’s accuracy.  Beef isn’t cheap either so really it pays off to have something like this to make things go smoother.

This stainless steel thermometer was made in Germany.  It has a built in battery that lasts about 20 years or around 1,000 steaks.  It also has  a 24 month warranty so you can’t beat that!
