Somewhere between all the hoses, sprinklers and garden sprayers that we use to water our plants, we also have about 3 drip irrigation kits. If you aren’t familiar with what these kits are, here is a simple explanation.
An irrigation kit is a form of irrigation that saves water by allowing water to drip to the roots of your plants. There is several kits available. A couple of months a go I was sent one of these kits. John liked it so much that we bought the second one. A couple weeks later I had the chance to review another one from a company called “Koram”.
This kit included the following items:
*1/4″ Blank distribution tubing (50ft)
*Barbed tee (20pcs)
* Tee pipe connector for irrigation sprayer (20pcs)
*Barbed couplings (20pcs)
*Single barbed couplings (20pcs)
*End Closure (Goof Plugs) (20pcs)
*1/4″ Tubing Stakes (20pcs)
*Irrigation Drippers (20pcs)
*Atomizing nozzle (20pcs)
*1/4″ Tubing Quick Connector (1pcs)
It is available on Amazon. While it doesn’t come with instructions in the package, the company does send an attachment with complete instructions on what you need to do to get started. They even include pictures with steps. This makes it really easy for first time users.
While you may have to tweak some of the connectors a bit to get them like you want them, this has turned out to be a great watering drip kit. When installed correctly you can water up to 40 plants.
You are saving on water and saving on work. Your plants are happy and you are happy.
This is a great item to give the gardener in your life or to use yourself.
