Keep Calm and and Spring will come!

Is it too early to start talking about spring?  I really don’t think so!  It has to be my favorite time of the year when everything is new.  The time when it feels good to open up the windows and the doors and let the wonderful fresh air blow in and remove all traces of winter.

“NO Matter How Long the winter, Spring is sure to follow”.

I may sound crazy but when that spring air blows in I can feel it lift some of the gloominess and depression that winter sometimes leaves in the house.  Speaking for myself I really enjoy fall, the leaves falling off the trees, pumpkins and carmel apples.  The weather is chilly but it’s a great feeling to put on the favorite sweater and scarf and go out and enjoy.

Then as Fall fades and all the holidays are coming one by one, I think that is when the stress factor sometimes hits.  Sometimes its we don’t have enough time to work, to clean and to have the house in perfect order for guests.  Or its we don’t have money for everything that the holidays involve, food – presents etc.   And for a majority it is both of these reasons.

But even through the stress I think most people, myself included.  We make time, have a good time and make memories that we wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.

“Spring is When you Feel Like Whistling!”

Spring is the promise though of a new start.  Everything that died in the winter comes back to life.  All the trees, flowers and grass seem to come to life.  For me just opening that window and letting the gloom of the stress and depression of the winter go out and the new hope that the spring blows in, is just what I need, what the majority of us needs.

I hope to bring some of that spring magic to Shopping Wives in the weeks to come.  Not only do I plan to show you some of my favorite review items, I hope to be able to share with you some positive posts on cleaning, cooking and life in general.

Thursday March the 20th is the first day of Spring!  Let’s count down the days and be ready for it!  I know I plan on being in Kentucky for as much of it as I can possibly be.
