Have a indoor or outdoor picnic this summer!

Summer, Summer, Summer.  Humidity.  Humidity.  Humidity.  This morning started out with a severe storm and today is supposed to be even higher in humidity.  We had pretty much toughed it out so far with a single fan due to our central air being out.  The day before yesterday we had that fixed, so now it is a nice 70 F in here, at least when John leaves it alone and doesn’t raise the temp.

I will not complain about the heat- or the rain.  I try to enjoy and find good in everything.

My philosophy that I “try” to go by is, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade”.

For example.  You planned a picnic.  You woke up and there was severe wind and storms.  Do you stay inside and throw lemons at each other?

NO

You spread out your picnic blanket on the living room floor and you have your picnic anyways!  Then when the storm blows over, you take that blanket outside and put it on the ground, and you continue.

If you don’t already have a picnic blanket, you might want to consider the one I have.  This extra large picnic blanket measures 60×80 and it can be used inside or out.

  • ✔ Easy-to-Fold, Easy-to-Carry, folds down to size of a purse – folded measures 10 inches
  • ✔ Extra large size unfolded measures 60 in x 80 in & lightweight 1.3 pounds (weight of a loaf of bread)
  • ✔ 100% soft cotton fleece which won’t irritate your skin and will provide hours of comfort
  • ✔ Waterproof cushioned backing prevents you from getting wet from damp lawns or surfaces and provides extra sitting comfort

I am loving mine.  Not only is it large and waterproof, it is nice to look at.  It isn’t made cheap and the colors and design makes it enjoyable to look at.

I think this would be perfect for all the fireworks people may be attending on July 4th, not to mention all the picnics around this time of year.  I know there isn’t always chairs available and if the ground is a bit damp, a regular blanket doesn’t work well.  If you plan on attending – fireworks, picnics, concerts or family reunions this summer- you might want to check this picnic blanket out.
