House at the end of the street. Possesion & Madagascar 3. FREE thoughts :D

TGIF!

It has been a whirlwind of a week but a good one!

While it’s been fun I so look forward to staying in for a couple days.  This week was rainy so I had to    plan my daily walks around the rain.  And managed to get in a little bit each day.  Monday I hope to be able to really put in those extra needed miles.

While I already told you about seeing TED last week I failed to mention a couple more movies I was able to catch in the theaters now.  A little over a week ago my mother, sister niece and I was wanting to see a good scarey movie.  We decided on seeing, THE POSSESION,

Without giving any spoilers I can say this was a good movie.  It was about a young girl finding and buying an antique box at a yardsale.  What she didn’t know was living inside was an ancient spirit.  This movie kept you watching and could creep you out in places.  Knowing that this movie was supposedly based on a true story gave me goosebumps!  Another plus was the guy that played the dad in the movie is no other then, Jeffery Dean Morgan.  If you don’t recognize that name you may know him as, Denny from Greys Anatomy or better yet, John Winchester, from Supernatural.. (Just to name a couple!)

Due to the storms the electric was out and this cancelled school.  After taking my niece and nephew on our walk they wanted to go see a movie.  After checking out what was playing we agreed to see, Madagascar 3.

This was great for the young and old.  2 or 3 days later I was still quoting cute little sayings from this fun movie!  In this movie all the animals are trying to get back home while running away from a lady trying to get the lions head (sounds kind of cruel when you type it out).  In the meantime they join a traveling circus and reinvent it.  It has a fantastic ending.

The last movie I was able to check out was one of my favorite types of movies.  It is one I can’t say too much about because it is a psychological thriller.. This one will keep you on the edge of your seat and once you watch the end you will want to see it again so you can watch for things that makes you say “why didn’t I notice that”.  The movie I am talking about is “THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET”  There is several well known actors in this.  The mother, Elizabeth Shue and her daughter, Jennifer Lawrence in which you may remember from THE HUNGER GAMES.

This movie is about a divorcee and her daughter moving into a house (at the end of the street) where they get mixed into a town secret.  It is really a must see!  I don’t want to say too much for fear of spoiling the movie.

So as you may have figured out by now I am a big movie watcher.   Due to the weather I was able to catch up on some good ones!
