Have you ever ate out of bamboo?

Disclaimer:  I received free products before writing this review.  I wasn’t required to write a positive review.  All opinions are 100% my own!

When you google “what is Bamboo” You will get something like this:

  1. A giant woody grass (Bambusa and other genera), that grows chiefly in the tropics, where it is widely cultivated.
  2. The hollow jointed stem of this plant, used as a cane or to make furniture and implements.

Right in front of our home is a small creek.  My husband decided when we moved in to plant Bamboo trees along side that creek bank to make kind of a privacy fence.  It sure took off fast once he did that and it is shooting up all over the place!

That is what I thought of, when I found a place online called Bamboo Studio.  Bamboo studio is a site that sells everything made from Bamboo.  Dishes, untensils, bowls, strainers etc.  I was lucky enough to get to try out some of their products and be able to share my experience with my readers.

These are sturdy, dishwasher safe collanders.  There was 3 sizes.

Diameter: 7.6", 11.6", and 14.2"
Volume: 16 oz, 80 oz, and 120 oz

I really liked these. I am constantly needing to drain something but don’t trust the flimsy plastic ones all the time.  Even some of the stainless steel ones I have had in the past were awkward to hold onto.  That isn’t a great feeling when trying to drain boiling water.  These are great. Love the big handles that makes it easy to hold on to!

This bowl was perfect for holding salads.  I tend to never have enough bowls when having big get togethers. Wether it is a green leafy salad or a huge bowl of cole slaw, this bowl will work perfectly.  It is also dishwasher safe.  While the bowl is dishwasher safe, these collapsible salad tongs should be handwashed. They really make it easy for serving up salad.  I had been looking for a good pair and was glad to receive these.  I think both of these items has their own decorative charm and is a great addition to any table.

I was also sent a 9” pasta bowl.  This is also dishwasher safe and is really cute!  They have a variety of sizes available and all of them are eco friendly.

This stylish Santa Barbara pitcher, holds 88 oz and is also dishwasher safe.  It is the perfect size for to fill up and sit in my fridge.

The last thing I tried was the all occasion dinnerware set.

I wanted to try them because they are reusable/disposable dishes.  These were so much better then paper plates.  They are sturdy and worth hand washing and using several times!  This is perfect for people that has a lot of company or house partys.  These also look more sophisticated then the regular paper plates available.

Don’t take my word for it though.  Please go over and see what they have for yourselves!  Right now you can save 15% off all orders by entering bamboo15 at the check out!

Don’t forget to follow Bamboo Studio on Twitter. Follow them on Pinterest.  And like them on Facebook!
