Today John & I went out so he could get his hair “trimmed”. When I made his appointment yesterday, I unthoughtedly told the person on the phone that he wanted his hair “done”. He was scared he would end up with a perm or coloring so I had to correct myself. The stylist thought it was funny and told me they would throw him an eyebrow trim for free. What they didn’t know was that he was overdue for that too! HaHa.
I stayed in the van and played on my IPAD 4 until he came out. I am still trying to figure out which is the best Apps to have. Especially blogging apps and things on that line. It is new to me so any suggestions for beginners would be appreciated. So far am loving it!
After this handsome man that I almost didn’t recognize (cough cough) came out from getting his “trim”, we went next door to a asian restaurant we love to visit when we are In the neighborhood. This place is called the Original Wok. It is located in Taylor Mill, Ky. We enjoy talking to the owner, Hannah when we are there. The food is also awesome. We are all about the enviroment of the place when we eat. And this place is very cozy.
After a nice lunch, that we brought half of home with us. We went to one of my favorite stores. Half Priced Books. While I have a kindle I still love buying hard copies of books! I am all about finding a bargain when I can and half priced books always has one! I have found several dvds on sale for 2 and 3 dollars. Books for 2 dollars. If you haven’t been there before, and you don’t mind gently used items then I believe you will love it too.
Today we came out with about 7 books and paid less then 20 dollars for them all!
I found a bunch of The biggest Loser books marked down to 2 dollars a piece and I thought I would get them to go along with the other ones I already have. I am hoping that soon I will be able to get back on track with a healthier way of living.. Practicing moderation and exercise. It is so rough. One of these days I will share my updated story about my weight with you all. It’s a long one!
