John and I are both drawn to more of a rustic décor. We like things that isn’t quite perfect. Things in more natural form and colors. I guess that is why we were both drawn to a log home when we started searching for one.
Inside you will find various designs and décor that might make any decorator cringe. But we buy things that appeal to us and then we surround ourselves with those things. One room has no certain theme, but a variety of things.
For example our upstairs fireplace mantel. One it you will find an old time kerosene light, A set of horses we brought back from Panama. An odd but older looking clock. And now. You will find this Barrel hammer Moscow mule mug.
Sure this 100% solid copper 16 oz mug was made to be drank out of. In fact it will keep cocktails, ice water and any other drink you like cool, You will find a welded handle and will not see a rivet holding that handle on there.
Maybe some day I will use it to drink out of, but right now I am enjoying looking at it. I thought it would work great for holding coins, holding pens or pencils. Maybe even a small green flower.
This cup is NOT dishwasher safe, so it must be hand washed and dried right away.
Maybe when I get through looking at it, it will be my new favorite cup for cold drinks. Even though I am a huge coffee drinker, I will never be able to drink my coffee out of this cup. Since this is 100% copper, hot drinks can cause copper leakage and could even have a reaction with the copper.
I think this would be a great cup for houses with young children. They could hold this cup well and it would break if they dropped it.
disclaimer: I received the product discussed in this post in exchange for my unbiased opinion of it.
What do you think of it?
