Give yourself a massage at home!

Have you ever had a massage?  I have had one done professionally one time.  A hot stone one.  It was heavenly!  I was so spoiled and so relaxed afterwards.

Realistically, massages isn’t something that we can schedule into our budget.  At least professional ones.  It is a guilty pleasure that I say go for when you can, I sure will!

But until then I have a couple options.  I can talk until I am blue in the face to my husband and convince him to give me one.  Or two.  I can do it myself!  Now option two isn’t as fun, but sometimes it is our only option!

I have one of those massage rollers.  Have you ever heard of them before?  This one is from Gurin, and it is pretty nice.  It is nice and long.  It is easy to hold and made to reach all those muscles by yourself.  Your sore muscles will appreciate it!

Arms, head, neck, waist, shoulders, back, legs and feet – you can get them all!

I have found out, only after I received this, that massaging is for much more then sore and tired muscles.  It is also for insomnia and headaches-  seriously.  Rolling this over your forehead and neck.  While you can do this with your fingers, the roller reaches a larger area and just feels different.

This is not a foam roller by the way.  The rollers are a harder plastic type of substance.

It is available on Amazon now for $22.95

On their page they also say this is not just for sore muscles.  As I said earlier, it is good for headaches and insomnia.  They also say it helps with

Recovers Tired Muscles

Reduces after Exercise Soreness

Increase Circulation of your Body

Treats Knots and Sports Injuries

Eliminate the Trigger Points and Tightness in your Muscles

Warm up before Workout to Prevent from Injury

Do myofascial release without paying a physical therapist

Overall I think it is a nice item to own and I am glad I got to try it out!
