Waking up a couple days ago, I did what I do on most days. I looked at the clock, the same clock I look at every morning. You know the one I have to subtract or add a couple hours too because I haven’t really sprang forward yet. I stumbled to the bathroom, stopping to pet Foxy and Cheeto. After giving them loving I continued to start my day. Eventually I made my way down the stairs. I found the cup of coffee that I need to get going through my veins ASAP. As I drank that cup of coffee I read my morning paper, aka Facebook.
My FB memory that morning was a gif that said “Installing Spring”. It looked like a download that was stuck, the bar was halfway full. This particular morning it was really pretty out. Warm enough in fact that John was outside working on the green house. He loves this weather and has already made definite plans to be outside all summer long. He built his bee hives, He has been composting, He even has taken up to raising worms this year. The garden will be his main priority and he has that planned out as well.
While I haven’t jumped full force into the garden, I am looking forward to my own special flower garden. Just a square of beautiful flowers. A place where I can sit near as I write, draw or read a favorite book. Last week I ordered several flower seeds that will go in my garden. Everything has really been coming together. I am almost afraid to say that things have been going perfect, mainly because life isn’t perfect. But in that area, it is going “swell”. In fact after I ordered my seeds, I seen that a company was needing reviewers for some of their seedling trays. They were offering discounts for a 5 pack seedling tray. Each tray holds 72 seedlings! I jumped right on that.
The #BootStrap Farmer offered me these 72 cell seedling trays, they are available on Amazon. When they came in I was so happy to see that they weren’t just a set of cheap trays. I am anxious to have a beautiful flower garden, and those flowers depend on the trays. I don’t want something that is going to bend in the middle once I have my precious seeds in them.
These trays are made of a Ultra Durable BPA Free Plastic. (BPA is a chemical that has been used in certain plastics since the 1960’s). Each tray has drain holes and large enough to allow the roots to grow through, but doesn’t mess with the vermiculite. These trays can be used over and over, I love that! If you are looking for seedling trays, these are perfect!
