There is this song I remember hearing as I was growing up. It was by a country singer, Donna Fargo. Some of the words “You’ve got champagne taste and a beer pocket book and it’s all we can do to get by”. I thought of these words when I was asked to review, not champagne, but wine. Every one knows for a good bottle of wine your going to have to pay a good price. Right? Well not now. With Frontera you can have your Champagne taste and still manage that beer pocket book.
Frontera wine costs less then $10.00 a bottle but at the same time it has high quality taste! I normally drink riesling when I am drinking wine, so I wasn’t sure how Frontera would be. I was scared the taste wouldn’t be great or it may just leave me with a huge headache.
There is a huge variety to choose from, no matter what your taste. Do you like white, red or how about a blush? Vintage such as Vintage red or white, how about a classic such as Sauvignon Blanc? Are you more of tendacies such as Pinot Noir.
Here is a couple favorites:
Frontera pinot noir is a youthful ruby red wine with a fresh, fruity bouquet and a soft texture that’s light to medium-bodied on the palate. It’s perfect for serving with cheese, or for pairing with grilled meats like pork, chicken and fish.
Frontera moscato is fresh and lightly sweet with hints of honey, fresh fruit and floral notes. It’s excellent as a before-meal aperitif, or partnered with spicy dishes, desserts, fruits and just about anything sweet.
