Do you own A First Aid Kit?

Do you own A First Aid Kit?

One item we keep in our home and in our vehicles is a first aid kit.  I do not think you can ever be too careful.  We never know when we are going to need something that is in that kit.  Some small item can make a big difference.  It doesn’t matter if it is a small band aid to fix a child’s boo boo.  Or a piece of tape to hold skin together until stitches can be put in.

Of course like everything, there is many types and sizes.  There is large plastic boxes and small bags.  They are all good in their own way.

At this point, my favorite first aid kit is the one I received from a company called, Peak Performer.

This bag is cute.  It is a red bag made out of a durable nylon and carrying handle.

Inside you you find pockets stuffed full of all the stuff that you hope you will never need to use.  In fact there is over 70 items!

Antiseptic cleansing wipes (6 pcs), Alcohol prep pad (10 pcs), Butterfly closure strips (2 pcs), Extra large adhesive bandage (1 pc), Adhesive bandages (20 pcs), Knuckle adhesive bandage (2 pcs), Fingertip adhesive bandage (2 pcs), Gauze swab (3 pcs), 1 disposable cold compress, First aid tape (1 roll), Cotton tip applicator (10 pcs), Abdominal pad (1 pc), Disposable vinyl gloves (1 pair), Slim rescue howler whistle (1 pc), Button Compass Liquid filled (1pc), Moleskin blister relief (1 pc), Triangular bandage (1 pc), Emergency blanket (1 pc), 1 Glow stick, Disposable raincoat (1 pc), Scissor (1 pc), PBT conforming bandage 5 x 3.6 cm (1 roll), CPR face mask (1 pc), Plastic tweezer (1 pc).

This bag is well worth the price they charge for it on Amazon.  I say this because I have purchased smaller kits in the past and paid more money then this one is.  Right now on Amazon they have it on sale for $23.85 and free shipping.  I am not sure how long this price will last.  It has a list price of $35.00.

If you don’t own at least one first aid kit, then I would suggest you get this one.  I love mine and am so glad to have found it!
