Once Upon a time……

When you read that sentence, does it make you think of a favorite fairy tale?  We have all heard the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Alice in wonderland- and that only names a few of the wonderful classic tales that a lot of us knew as children and still share with our children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, even today.

Did you realize a lot of these characters had more to their story then we remember?  these wonderful characters were all teens at one point and went to a place called Fairy Tale High!  How do I know this?

I know this because of a great website I found about a month or so ago.

Fairy Tale High,  Where magic happens!  There is about 8 different dolls and each doll has her own story.  Her own likes dislikes, hobbies, etc.

I was lucky enough to be able to review a couple of these dolls or rather, my 10 year old niece Makayla was lucky enough to review them.  I was sent Snow and Rapunzel.

Did you know that teen Snow white loves writing songs and her favorite saying is “Be kind or Stay Behind”  Unlike your normal Snow White, this one is dressed in boots to her knees and thigh highs,it goes well with the cute little mini skirt she is sporting, insteadofthe ankle length dress and puffy shirt sleeves. Some may say a little too sexy, but I thought it was cute. This is modern day snow and she dresses like a modern day teen.

Rapunzel was also very cute.

Rapunzel still has her long golden hair.  She is dressed in brown looking work boots and tights with also a short skirt. teen Rapunzel likes telling everyone to just let their hair down and have some fun!  She loves doing hair and makeup for the theatre performances at fairy tale high.

Makayla really enjoyed these dolls and to be honest it was hard giving them up.  The little girl in me would love her own set to set up and collect. I did however want to give them to Makayla because these were more something she could relate with at her in between age.  They weren’t babyish but still great for teens and preteens.  They will help encourage imagination.
Another thing I loved about the Fairy tale high site, was that kids could go there and read their ebooks that they have for each doll.  You are also able to watch some webisodes there.
Fairy tale High dolls are available at several stores.including places such as Walmart and Toys R us!
Be sure and check out their website and if you want to hear their latest news like them on Facebook and follow them on twitter. Pin them on pinterest and don’t forget to add them to your google plus circles.
