Ever lost a button while out? Don’t leave home without this!

Picture this……

Your out for a much needed girls night out.  As you are getting out of the car, you snag your dress and it rips. As you try and hide the rip you make your way to the nearest restroom.  There you notice a button missing.  While this sounds like a made up disaster.  It is a disaster that could possibly happen.

I know I have wished for a magical safety pin a couple times in my life!  Have you?

That scene is the reason why I carry a sewing kit near me.  The sewing kit from a company called Vellostar fits nicely into my purse.  If I am out with just a small evening bag or one of my smaller purses, it is tucked neatly in the glove box of the car.

This kit comes in a cute black zippered case.

Inside you will find most of what you need that can help you feel more covered for unexpected disasters.

There is plenty of thread that will cover you for a evening out, a weekend getaway or even a weeks vacation for the family.

I love the fact that there is a variety of colors to choose from.  If I need a button I have one, if I need a safety pin – boom there it is!  Needles, threaders, tape measures and even a thimble is inside this cute cute kit! In fact it has the following items:

Stainless steel scissors • 10 Needles • 2 Threaders • Pins • 3 Shirt buttons • Thimble • Measuring tape • Seam ripper • 12 Spools of thread in popular colors

I know there has been times that I have been sitting around at home and John has asked me for a needle or to sew something up and due to a lack of kit we had to wait until we could go out.  With the items in this kit, we are set for most things sewing related.

I think it would make a great gift for men, women, boys and girls.  Might be a cute stocking stuffer – or sent in a care package to your college student or soldier.

From my experience with this particular one, I can say the the items in it are quality items that will last.   I have had kits in the past where the scissors break or are dull and the thread wasn’t strong.

This is the real deal…

Disclaimer:  This kit was sent to me to test out and then share my honest unbiased opinion with you.  All the opinions in this post is my own and may or may not differ from yours.
