The last few years In December, I start seeing all these pictures of women and men, taking pictures of this naughty elf. Each elf has a different name, but they all have one thing in common. They are mischievous. Playing in the flour, playing in the toilet, Visiting Barbie. It is amazing seeing what all these elves are doing in the month of December. Maybe I am naïve, but I always thought of Elves as cute little guys that lived in the North Pole. They were overworked kind hearted people. Santa’s slaves if you will.
Maybe they have modernized and this new generation of elves strayed from the North Pole. Maybe they are now getting revenge on our generation for requesting all these toys from Santa. Who knows.
Do you think I have completely lost it? Or do you realize I am talking about the famous Elf on a shelf?
These cute little guys/gals come with a book. Up until a little bit ago I thought they were all the same, but they aren’t. There is different ones. Boys, girls.
As I have been investigating farther, I realize that these naughty little elves were sent here as scout elves. They are here to watch our kids for the holidays and then report to Santa who goes on the naughty/nice list. In my opinion I think their true goal is to get all the kids on Santa’s naughty list. What do you think?
Either way they are loads of fun. I know this because I follow all these pictures floating around social media in the month of December. Fun for the parents because they are getting to be creative and have amazing photo ops. Fun for the kids because it is just fun to see what naughty thing their elf has done in the night.
This is A Christmas Tradition book $24.47
It is becoming a household tradition, and I have to admit.. One that I would love to be a part of!
I was thinking about this last night. While it is still October, this would probably be the best time to purchase one. I think like most things, end of November and first of December, things will raise in prices. Right Now Amazon has a few available at reasonable prices. I wanted to share them with you.
They have elves with brown eyes, Elves with blue eyes and tutus!
