If I had to share one thing about losing weight, one thing that I have learned in the past 20+ years, it would have to be this:
“Eat In Moderation”.
While I know this tip, it is one tip that trips me up constantly. It is one I am getting better at but learning how I can literally make myself do this is vital.
How have I been doing it lately?
While at home I have my meals planned. I try and stay away from unhealthy snacks as much as I possibly can. I am not perfect and there will always be an uninvited cookie or something that worms its way into my life. I can’t help that. But what I can help is planning out my meals and dividing at least my lunch accordingly.
I have been using containers to put my food in and then freezing them. This way, I heat up what is in the container and this is what I have available. It is working really well so far.
I have been using some containers that I got from Amazon. These are from Prep Rx. This 7 pack of reusable containers allows me to freeze a weeks worth of food. They are microwave and dishwasher safe as well!
Here is more about them from the company:
Eating in moderation has helped me immensely. I am not counting calories. I haven’t been on a exercise routine. I haven’t been going hungry. But in cutting down my serving size, I have lost 15 lbs in the last 2 months. Not a lot, but any loss is better then a gain. In my opinion.
