For the last few days I have had the privilege of trying the meals from Diet To Go. They sent me these meals for free so I could try them out and share my thoughts with you.
Diet to go is a plan that delivers food to your front door. With diet to go you don’t have to count calories or fat gram. You don’t have to weigh it out. When you go to the website you will see different plans to choose from.
I was anxious to see what kinds of foods I would end up with. I was scared they would be like your typical frozen foods. When the box got here everything was packed in nice foam containers.
Everything was nicely still frozen when it arrived. It was also nicely packaged. I put mine straight in the deep freeze but did learn that if I put them in the fridge, they would last up to 6 days in there. This is great to know. I know some people that has limited freezer space.
They were also easy to prepare. Each night before bed I lay out the next days meals. While they can be prepared in the microwave, I prefer the oven. If a meal is frozen it takes 45 minutes on 325. If it is thawed out 15-20 minutes is perfect. All I did was take the outer plastic off and put aluminum foil over the top.

One thing I had to get used to was eating vegetables for breakfast. With Diet to Go there is brussel sprouts, green beans and cauliflower all as part of the breakfast plan. One thing I don’t care for in the meals is the green beans. I like my veggies mushy and seasoned. The beans to me are just too crunchy and tasteless. Other then that I love the veggies!
The meat is nice and tender and the eggs are great! They also add quite a bit of cheese in which I love!
And yes, they do have steak!
