I was super excited to see Dancing with the Stars come back on last night, starting their 20th season! What a line up they have this time. It is always so inspiring to see people really go out of their comfort zone and do something like that, then be judged. I don’t know if I could do it.
In honor of my favorite dancing show coming back on, I must share this salsa I had the chance to try out.
What does salsa have to do with Dancing. Well other then being a awesome dance, this salsa is called “Burn the Dance Floor”.
This salsa is a mild version, but still had a nice kick to it.
What I like about it is the fact that it is a super healthy snack. Depending on what you are dipping with. The salsa itself has maybe 10 calories per serving. There is 0 fat and is made up with fresh vegetables such as: green chiles, tomatoes, corn, onions, bell pepper and other peppers and corn. There is also vinegar and garlic and sugar. The sugar is low though at 1 gram.
I was loving the big chunks of veggies In this jar. Another thing I liked was the jar itself. It is a large 16 oz jar that is perfect size for when I have company over and want to serve a snack..
I haven’t done it yet, but I intend to use this in a recipe. It would be so good to make a pot of chili using this instead of the rotella tomatoes. I am also wanting to make a pot of chilli mac and use this. Sounds so super yummy. Just typing this I can think of so many things I could use this in.
