If you are looking for a cute gift for a younger girl, then you may want to check out these sea horse necklace that I had the chance to review. This cute necklace is only $9.99 and it is available on Amazon.
The necklace is suggested for girls and for women that is young at heart. It is a 18 k rose gold plated seahorse. The sea horse is made up of white, pink and fuchsia crystals and is on a 18 inch chain. The necklace comes in an adorable pink shell case made of velvet.
It also comes with a card that explains the seahorse symbolism. It is really a cute story and for the price they are charging, I would suggest it to anyone that has a little girl. The details on the necklace is nice, especially for the price they are charging for it.
I probably would make sure I didn’t get it wet. But other then that I have no cons for it.. Only pros.
Here is more about it from the company

If you are looking for a great exfoliating scrub, then you may want to check out the one from Valentia. For almost a month now, I have been using their Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub.
I have tried products from Valentia in the past and I liked them. I can tell the company takes pride in their products by just looking at the packaging. Inside a nice white and gold box you will find a jar of white gold and black. While I am a firm believer of it is what is on the inside that counts. It means a lot to see the sophistication they take in their products. If they are going to take that much care in packaging, I believe they will take just as much care of the product inside the jar.
If I could find a way to blog the smell of this I would. It is so nice! While there is no fragrances in this, it does have a natural green tea smell – they actually use white and green teas to make this product.
It has really made my face feel so much softer. It goes on nice and I don’t have to use a huge amount. I have added this to my regular nightly routine and I have found my skin feels healthier.
This Exfoliating Scrub will do the following:
– Brightens & revives skin
– Improves skin tone & texture
– Removes dead skin cells
– Softens the skin
– Prevents future breakouts
My face has broke out in the past when using other products, this hasn’t done anything other then make my face feel good. While we all have different skin types and reactions and even opinions. I can only tell you my thoughts and experience with this particular product.
This is available on Amazon. Go there to find out more about it and to read other reviews, or visit the website HERE

There is several reasons why I loved having the chance to review the NimNik Kitchenette 3 compartment storage containers.
One of them being that it helps me to eat more in moderation. I can prepare lunches during the week, freeze them and then pop them in the microwave as I need them.
Not only can I freeze lunches, but these are perfect for snacks. I can prepare my veggies as I bring them in from the store. When they are prepared and in one of these I much more likely to grab them to snack on. Can you relate? The same with fruit or any other snack. I have always heard, know and believe that moderation is key. It doesn’t matter if I am dividing up fruits and veggies or nuts and crackers – these help keep me in moderation.
They are nice if you have company over that likes to take home leftovers. These are perfect for that! It beats scrambling around the kitchen trying to decide which plate to lend out.
Some of the reasons you may like them is because they are:
Reduce meal prep time
They are reusable, stackable and versatile
And my favorite- they are leak proof!
This 10 pack is available on Amazon.

Are you looking for something to make your yard stand out this summer? If you are then, you need to read on. I was sent this cute sturdy metal flag stand with the American Flag on it.
This stand is 32 inches tall and about 15 inches wide. It comes in 3 parts and while John normally opens my boxes, I opened this one and decided to put it on together. I didn’t even need instructions. It was as simple as screwing the poles together and sliding the double sided American flag on it.
It seems to be very sturdy and will be a great addition to my flower garden this summer. It will also be perfect for 4th of July. If you are one that enjoys having big celebrations, this would be a great decoration for that occasion. Me- I will leave mine out all spring and summer long.
I love the fact that the flag is made out of a good material. It is stitched together nicely and doesn’t rip. It is also machine washable. The pole is weatherproof so it can stand snow, rain or whatever else mother nature may throw at it.
I think this kit is worth the $14.97 they are charging on Amazon for it. You can read more about it HERE

Kids are usually so smiley and happy! They love flashing their pearly whites at the camera or when they are laughing. If their teeth aren’t so pearly white, they may become self-conscious and hide their smile as much as possible. It’s super easy to help your kids keep their teeth in the best possible condition. Just follow these five easy steps!
Cut Down On Sugar
Not only does sugary food increase the chance of obesity, but it can also play havoc with teeth. Especially young teeth! By cutting down on sugary snacks and sweets, you’ll be preventing a lot of unnecessary tooth decay and toothache. Kids can still eat things like chocolate and candies, but not so often and not in large amounts. If they get hungry in between meals, give them a healthy snack instead of something sugar. Snacks such as bananas and carrot sticks are some very nutritious options that won’t damage teeth.
You need to start brushing a child’s teeth as soon as they get their first milk one. This is usually around the six-months mark. You don’t need to buy a special children’s brand of toothpaste. Sometimes, these child-specific brands don’t contain enough fluoride to help protect the teeth. When you are shopping for toothpaste, look for one with 1,350-1,500 ppm to use on your child’s teeth. Once their adult teeth come through, they can use an electric toothbrush.
Visit Your Dentist
It is very important to take your child with you when you visit your dentist. Even if they aren’t yet old enough for their very own checkup. This will get them used to the dentist, so they know what to expect when it is their turn! Your dentist will be able to see if there are any potential problems with the development of your child’s teeth, gums, and jaw. They can also treat any problems your child may have, such as cavities and plaque.
Your dentist can even treat your child’s teeth so they are better protected against plaque and cavities. One common treatment is pits and fissure sealants. This involves a painless process in which the dentist paints the child’s teeth with a sealant. This then forms a hard coating over the teeth so that no food or germs can get in between them and cause decay. This is usually only applied to the back teeth, which often have natural grooves in them.
Follow A Healthy Lifestyle
There are also small changes you can make to your lifestyle to help with your children’s teeth. Sticking to a healthy and nutritious diet helps you to reduce the amount of sugar that they eat. They will also be less likely to eat foods that stain their teeth. As they grow older, teach them the benefits of not smoking and drinking too much alcohol. These are also activities that can seriously damage teeth.
So start looking after your children’s teeth today. It’ll give all your family a reason to smile and flash your fantastic gnashers!
Have the guys from the gym called and invited your man along for a last-minute camping trip? Or is he always getting called away on ad-hoc meetings with work? Whatever the reason, if your guy is heading off on a last minute trip, he might need some help with his packing. Here are eight items to remind him to take.
Most hotels provide towels for their guests. But what if your guy is actually staying somewhere else, like a villa or a self-catered apartment? It will take him ages to get dry with a toilet roll! If space is limited, pack a micro fibre towel. They don’t take up as much room as normal ones and they dry faster too.
Glasses or contacts
No matter the nature of the trip, if your guy wears glasses or contact lenses, he’s going to want them with him. If he wears contacts and forgets them, he might be able to pick up a one-day pair from the local pharmacy. Glasses, however, are far harder to replace. Have him keep them in a sturdy glasses case, not a soft one. This also makes a good gift idea.
Like with a towel, the place he’s headed may or may not provide toiletries. Remind him to pack his toothbrush and toothpaste. He’ll also want any hair products he regularly uses, a multi-use shower gel. Don’t forget the deodorant; he’ll need that in case things heat up in the boardroom!
This is especially important if your man needs or wants to remain clean-shaven. Even if he shaves before the trip, he’ll want to be covered if it goes on longer than expect. If he does forget his, he can order one online from sites like iwantashaver.com.
Men might insist that underwear can just be turned inside out, but we women know better! Make sure he packs some spares.
Even if he is going away on business, a comfortable change of shoes is a must. If he wants to run down to reception just before bed, he’ll want to slip on some sneakers, not his smart work shoes.
It’s very unlikely he’ll forget his phone or laptop, especially if it’s a business trip. However, it is likely that he’ll forget the chargers! An alternative is a portable charger, which transfers its battery power onto your device when necessary. Chargers often get forgotten at both ends. They can get left in the plug socket at the hotel or conference centre he’s been staying at. This is another reason why portable chargers can come in so handy.
Even if you think you’ll be in the house when he returns home, it’s probably best he take his keys with him. That way, if your plans change, you won’t need to worry about him. Equally, for him, a meeting might run over or a train could be delayed. Having his keys with him means he can let himself into the house no matter what time he arrives back.
A few years back, one of the main items a man or woman had in their purse or pocket, was a ink pen. Now since smart phones have taken over, I wonder how many people still carry a regular ink pen. I am one of them that does. While I have an iPhone, I don’t take advantage of some of the things all those cool apps have to offer.
John and I write our grocery list down on a piece of paper and take it to the store with us. Dates are also written down or remembered. While I do use apps, I just haven’t given up on old habits. I guess that is why a stylus pen appealed so much to me. The best of both worlds! At least in my opinion!
The stylus pens I have are from CoolingTech and are available on Amazon. In this pack of six you will get some really cute pens. Right now they cost about $6.99 with free shipping. I found the pens easy to write with. The pens are really cute, you will find colors like pink, green, blue, orange, black and yellow. The pink even has glitter decorating the inside. Don’t worry, no glitter comes out of the pen, and they all write black. On the opposite side, or the top of the pen, is a stylus. This works perfect for me! I can make out my list and use it to mark it off and then use the stylus for my iPhone. That is a win/win!
Do you still carry a ink pen?

Are you looking for a way to pamper your winter feet? There is so many things you can do for them. One of them being going for a pedicure somewhere. Pedicures are not always possible though. Especially if you are trying to budget.
I used to get pedicures regular. The people there would want me to come in once every 2 weeks if not once a week. Of course I would sometimes let it go 4 weeks. But like a lot of people, it just wasn’t in my budget.
That is when I started looking for alternative ways to treat my feet. I just want feet that looks presentable when I wear my summer sandals or other open toed shoes.
My main problem was rough cracked and callused feet. I guess it doesn’t help that I like to run barefoot all the time.
I started seeing these battery operated callus removers. I wanted to try one so bad. Up until I was able to try one, the best thing I had was a pumus stone that didn’t do the trick.
I have tried a few that wasn’t really powerful. Then I found the one from #treatmyfeet and is available on Amazon.
This one comes in a nice box. While it doesn’t have a case with it, I saved my box to store it in when I wasn’t using it. I like this one because I can use batteries or a cord and charge it.
You can use this one wet or dry feet. I have tried it on both and have found that I like to use it after my feet are dried better. This set comes with 2 coarse heads. I like the fact that they did send an extra one.
I guess it depends on how bad a shape your feet are in as to how long it will take to improve those winter feet. If you use it regularly, you should start seeing results. I was amazed how smooth my feet felt when I first started using it.
This one has power to smooth those hard feet down and is safe to use. I am so glad I was able to try it out and this is one I would recommend to family and friends.
Yes, I still love the nice smelling lotions, the foot massages and the attention of someone else doing my feet, but my wallet likes that there is alternatives such as this out there. It is proving much cheaper to buying new heads once or twice a year (also available on Amazon) Compared to going for pedicures twice a month.
